B&B Strategy Game Template

B&B Template Features

Gameplay
The B&B Template is named after the two chief gameplay objectives of most browser-based strategy games: buying and battling. Players purchase in-game units, as well as items for these units (such as weapons and armor) and then send them into battle against the units of other players in the game. Through victory in battles players improve their rank in the game and earn money with which to buy additional units and items.

To keep the game interesting and competitive B&B games come with a built in round system which resets all accounts every three months. A user's profile contains their rankings in all past rounds.

Much can be said about B&B gameplay, but the best way to see what it's about is to try the sample B&B game which is made available here.

Community
Games created with the B&B Template are not just games, they are communities. Users can interact with eachother through battles and gameplay, or though private messages and discussion in the moderated public forums. Players often get to know eachother well in the process of playing a B&B game - bonds are often formed which extend outside of the game itself.

Administration
The B&B Template comes with some important administrative tools that can help to keep the game running smoothly. These tools are available in a password protected browser-based administration panel.
  • Game play on/off button (you can enter a reason that will show up to the players).
  • Unit/item generator.
  • Game announcement posting feature.
  • Game stats (number of players, signups today, etc).
  • Account login feature (lets you automatically log into any account).
  • Account delete feature.
